Furman heads to McKenzie Arena on Thursday to take on Chattanooga. It starts at 7 p.m. EST. The Paladins are 5-2 against the Mocs over the last four years. The last time they met (Feb. 23, 2012) they won 65-55.

Furman is in 11th place in the SoCon, Chattanooga is in seventh place.

In spite of 20 points from Stephen Croone, the Paladins came up short 72-66 against Appalachian State on Feb. 11. He leads the team in assists with 4.2 per game and steals with 1.2 per game. For the Mocs, Z Mason finished with 7 points and 9 rebounds in the 62-59 win over Samford on Feb. 11. He leads the team in points with 14.5 per game, rebounds with 7.3 per game, and blocks with 0.9 per game. One category in which Chattanooga is especially proficient is free throw rate at 41.6 percent, ranking first in their conference (and 41st nationally).
